Being in a an abusive relationship can feel isolating and scary. Those who have not experienced narcissistic abuse are unlikely to understand what it is like, and the lasting impact on a person's self esteem, long after the relationship has ended.
This group offers a chance to connect with others who have had similar experiences and understand what it is like.
Get the support that you need, from others in the same situation, online, from the comfort of your home.
This group is for people who have left a relationship where they experienced narcissistic abuse at the hands of their ex. Its purpose is to provide a safe and supportive space to explore, rebuild, and move forward. Some of the benefits of joining an online therapy group can be found here.
It is not suitable for anyone who is currently in crisis, or is actively suicidal. All members must be aged 18 and over.
I am covered by my professional liability insurance to run this group under UK law, however, members from all over the world can apply.
This group runs fortnightly on Wednesday evenings at 6:30pm, lasts for 90 minutes and costs £27.
The group commits to meet fortnightly and is capped to 6 people to allow time for everyone to speak. It is not a drop in support group, and members pay for their place in the group, rather than attendance alone.
We meet on Zoom, which can be accessed on most devices. A good internet connection is required and a private space away from other people and distractions. All members are required to wear headphones to ensure confidentiality.
The online therapy group is open ended, which means members can stay for as long as they wish, and when a person decides to leave, the next person on the waiting list will be offered the space. If the waiting list suggests there's more need, I will consider starting a new group in the week to try to keep waiting to a minimum.
