Starting 23rd October 2021 - This group will run for 5 fortnightly sessions. The structure of the short programme includes: some psychoeducation that will help you to gain understanding of how your experiences have affected you; coping strategies and skills for grounding, self-soothing, being able to regulate emotions and avoid overwhelm; begin to address low self esteem and establish healthy boundaries in relationships. In order to create a safe therapeutic space, numbers will be limited to 8 people.
The session fee is £24 per session, and 2 sesssions' payment (£48) is required to secure your space.
This introductory group is for people who experienced and / or witnessed domestic abuse in the family home, as children.
It is not suitable for anyone who is currently in crisis, or is actively suicidal. All members must be aged 18 and over.
I am covered by my professional liability insurance to run this group under UK law, however, members from all over the world can apply.

The group commits to meet fortnightly and is capped to 8 people to allow time for everyone to speak. It is not a drop in support group, and members pay for their place in the group, rather than attendance alone.
We meet on Zoom, which can be accessed on most devices. A good internet connection is required and a private space away from other people and distractions. All members are required to wear headphones to ensure confidentiality.
